What's new in v1.5.1 ? Just Check the change log file stored in ...skins/tech/ folder

BEFORE INSTALLING, check requirements below

*Cleaning previous Tech Installation

If you want to update an existing TECH config, you MUST delete the previous .../skins/tech folder before extracting the new .zip file, otherwize, it could generate some WSH crash later!

*Required Fonts

*Required dependencies

foo_wave_seekbar component requires
- Ms Visual C++ 2010 SP1 32 bits version even on x64 systems > [link]
- and for Direct3D rendering of the wave seekbar, DirectX Runtimes 9 (not installed on Seven by default) > [link]

*Installation Notes

Install foobar2000 if not already done (Normal or Portable installation, as you prefer), then :

If Normal install done, extract the .zip file into your foobar2000 user profile folder, on Seven it's C:\Users\<your_username>\AppData\Roaming\foobar2000\

If Portable install done, extract the .zip file into your foobar2000 program folder, for example C:\My Programs\foobar2000\

Run foobar2000

When prompted, select as default interface "ColumnsUI" then OK

Now Tech layout is visible, first your have to configure your media library : use the main menu entry "Library>Configure"

You have to setup Shpeck component: "File>Preference>Visualizations>Shpeck" then Change Winamp Directory with your foobar2000 installation folder, it contains a fake winamp.exe. After that an available plugin will appear in the list, configure if you need, click Start/Stop button to active the panel

Installation is now over, you may have to set some other useful features, like "Cursor follows Playback" (menu "Playback") ...

It's that easy

*Tips:
- Right click on the ELPlaylist > Group/Sort by ... will give you 4 presets

- Try the right click on all items ... there are some useful context menu there ...
- For a smoother scrolling in playlist, disable Pseudo Transparency in ELPlaylist settings (recommended for slow computer or netbooks or simply is playlist is so huge!)

Sinon 2 questions:

En mode réduit (petit et moyen lecteur) imossible de sortir de "always on top", même si ce n'est même pas coché dans view, c'est un bug ou bien, ça vient de mon côté ?

Enfin, là je pense pas que ce soit un bug, mais je n'y arrive pas, alors saurais-tu me dire comment trier un playlist en cliquant sur les colonnes (titre, artiste, track... ou autre), ça n'a aucun effet chez moi.
J'ai pourtant vu l'option "Enable sorting using column titles" cochée dans playlist view, mais il doit me manquer un bout du puzzle...

always on top forcé on mode mini (mon choix)

et les entetes de colonnes ne permettent pas le tri, il faut utiliser le click droit sur la playlist (module ELPlaylist, voir la doc) et utiliser un des pattern de sort/group prédéfinis au préalable par tes soins ou ceux par defaut... sinon il y a toujours le menu EDIT > Sort ...

hmmm... i have just installed ur skin.
if the music plays and i push the setting button on the right side...the music stops and i get the message "Unrecoverable playback error: UPnP device error: Transition not available".

What do i have to do now?

Br3tt, is there a way to create a new tab with the filter, as seen on ExtremeHunter`s FooGlassic? (and at the bottom of techplayer, third tab)?

I'd love it. I use it a lot.

Great skin, but have two problems in win 7 SP1 (32), foobar 1.2.3:
1. Music is stutters (jam), when I'm switching between tabs (lyrics, cover art, biography).
2. It doesn't want to load lyrics to lyrics tab. Even if I do it by hand. Here is screen [link]

Forgot. Fixed lyric's problem replace old Lyric Show Panel 3 with new one version 0.3.5.2.
